dude, ragging is not such a bad experience, if the senior guy is sane and just wants to have fun.. I remember being shit scared about it, when I was new to my college. Got ragged by a bunch of people. But after two weeks I had a very good relationship with them. They took me to parties, games and we had fun.

When I became a senior, I did the same and have very good friendships with my juniors. If they get bored, they come to my room watch movies/ go out for food or just talk abt life, or if they have any issues regarding any of the subjects they know they always have a senior to talk to..

But I do know that there are a few psychos who just want to torture people, which is very bad and gives a very bad name to ragging. Because of that I do think ragging should be banned..

Btw i m from one of "those" bangalore colleges..
